Sunday May 22nd is the 2nd annual statewide Harvey Milk Day. It's also Harvey Milk's birthday. Come in for a slice of cake. Harvey's is also donating 10% of all sales on this day to the Harvey Milk Foundation.

Dining Out For Life

Join us on Thursday, April 28 at Harvey's when we once again participate in Stop AIDS Project Dining Out for Life night. 25% of your meal and drink ticket for the day will go directly to STOP AIDS project, and our own Trivia girl, BeBe Sweetbriar, will co-host the night from 5pm-10pm, including an array of her sweet performances to make the night that much more special. We all gotta eat, why not make it count!

New GLBT History Museum Opens next to Harvey's

The San Francisco GLBT Historical Society opened their new museum location at 4127 18th Street. That's just a couple doors down from Harvey's. Harvey's is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Museum for January. Please stop in and learn about the history of our community.

Harvey's recognized as community partner

The Castro/Upper Market Community Benefit District has awarded its latest Community Partner Award to Harvey's (500 Castro Street).

CBD board President Dominic Campodonico presented Harvey's general manager Steve Porter with the award at the October MUMC meeting. Said Campodonico, "The award is to honor business owners who take pride in their property and their neighborhood. No one has done that more than Harvey's."

At the meeting, Porter also announced that Harvey's will sponsor the first month of operation of the GLBT Historical Society Museum , set to open at 4127 18th Street in November. Porter described the restaurant's commitment to the neighborhood saying, "We know doing business at the corner of 18th and Castro comes with a lot of responsibility. We try to do that."
